Lovely Quilted Table Topper!

1 Batik Table Mat Measures:
12" diameter and 1/4 inch thick
I hand wrapped this lovely batik fabric around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray. This rich batik fabric has festive highlights and it shows on both sides too! It is 100% cotton! I just love this batik, it has rich shades of orange and red highlights! I added a lovely contrasting batik fabric for a nice accent. Both of these lovely batik fabrics were hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique.
