I hand wrapped these lovely high quality batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine sewed to make the basket sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray to give it texture. I used 2 different beautiful batik fabrics and both are 100% cotton and show on the inside too! Color placement will vary. The cute bunny on the basket is included for a nice accent.

These pretty batik fabrics have many highlights for a very unique natural color. They were hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous.

Love this handmade basket! We bought 2, one for each daughter and so happy we bought these. I searched what felt like forever for well made baskets that would last years to come and could be used for non-Easter. Seller went above & beyond, even sent a small handmade stuffed bunny to match each basket & a foam bunny cutout that we wrote their names on. Would definitely buy again
