Lovely Keepsake Blue Easter Basket!
Artisan Batik Basket Measures:
4" High and 8.5" diameter top
I hand wrapped these lovely high quality batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine sewed to make the basket sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray to give it texture. I used 2 different beautiful batik fabrics and both are 100% cotton and show on the inside too! The cute bunny on the basket is included for a nice accent.

These pretty batik fabrics have many highlights for a very unique natural color. They were hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous.
