1 Artisan Quilted Batik Fabric Basket Measures:
3"High and 12" diameter top
I hand wrapped these lovely batik fabrics around cotton line, which I then hand coiled and machine quilted to make it sturdy. I used the raw edge technique with some fray for a great shabby chic texture. I just love the blue highlights!

These lovely batik fabrics were hand made in Indonesia, using wax resist patterns, which is very labor intensive. The results are gorgeous and unique. I designed and created this lovely basket in my smoke-free home studio.
